In this capacity, Halim Haddad covers all front-of-house functions for Next Ideaz, such as events, restaurant concept development, and food and beverage operations.

As Next Ideaz plans to target the GCC more firmly, in the near future Halim is poised to take on this market, thanks to a hospitality management

background that spans the Arab region with posts in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

As General Manager of the Rest House Tyr Hotel and Resort, Halim was in charge of the 363 rooms, 4-star hotel’s operations, including banqueting, major events and setting the hotel’s quality standards. Prior to this post, Halim was the Senior Food and Beverage Manager of the 5-star Kempinski Hotel in Amman, Jordan, where he managed the hotel’s four restaurants, entertainment venue, banqueting, outside catering, room service, food and beverage service for events , the department’s marketing plan, accounting, the implementation of standards and concept development. He held similar managerial posts at the 5-star Hilton Hurghada Plaza, in Egypt, the 5-star Hilton Al Ain in the UAE and Restaurant Manager at the 5-star Jeddah Hilton Hotel, in Saudi Arabia.

Halim earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in hospitality management, in 2002 from the American University of Technology, in Lebanon. In 1995, he earned his technical baccalaureate from Lebanon’s Hotelerie School, with a diploma in restaurant service.

He is very well received by his peers as evidenced by the numerous awards an certificates of achievement that he’s received over the years for his work in the hospitality industry.
